Want to make a change with your spare change?
Now you can help homeless pets in need every time you shop!
With the My Charity Change app, you can choose to round up your purchases and make micro-donations to PetRescue.
An easy, convenient way to help pets
My Charity Change is an Australian mobile app that makes donating to charity simple, affordable and convenient by combining two of your favourite things: shopping, and giving back to the community 💖 As keeping pets safe is important to you, now it’s easy to help pets a few cents at a time when you make a purchase by choosing PetRescue as your charity.
How it works
-
Download the app on the Google Play Store or iOS and sign up
-
Select PetRescue from the list of charities
-
Link your bank and card details using the secure multi-factor authentication.
-
When you make a purchase using a linked bank card, it will be rounded up to the nearest dollar. At the end of the week, these micro-donations are tallied and donated to the charities of your choice, and you get a tax-deductible receipt.
A stress-free way to donate
No complicated sign-up forms, no logins, and no captcha codes. Giving back is as easy as buying a cup of coffee. Should you choose to stop payments, you can do so by contacting admin@mycharitychange.com.au with your request and it will be processed within 7 days of notice.
Some retailers offer donations at the point of sale to a charity of their choice. The difference with My Charity Change is that you choose the charity that you want to donate to with your bank card and set up a maximum amount. This way you can keep track of how you are supporting the work that you believe in.
No small amount for homeless pets
The micro-donations made via the app may not seem like much to you, but with many choosing to do the same, this adds up to a significant difference for the pets that will be helped.
