New Research into the Impact of Rescue Work on Mental and Physical Health

On Thursday 29th of January, PetRescue’s developers will be making improvements to the platform's security. They will be adding a technical tool called "encryption at rest" so that all data is more secure and less vulnerable to data theft, protecting members and adopters alike.
As this will be done in real time, what this means is that the website will need to be down for the technical work to be completed. With that in mind, we have scheduled it at the best time/day to suit the lowest traffic to limit user impact.
The scheduled outage will be on Thursday 29th of January 2026:
-
from 1am AEST/10pm AWST, and
-
back online by 6am AEST/3am AWST
During this scheduled outage, account holders won't be able to log in, and for API users or those with a ShelterMate integration, the data requests will fail and return a 'service not available' error code. For ease, we suggest that API and ShelterMate users pause listing edits and uploads during this time.
