Keeping adopters up to date with the latest pet listings
If you’re looking for a pet, you can sign up for a free PetRescue account and set up pet email alerts to be notified when a new pet is listed that matches your search criteria. Simply select ‘My Alerts’ from the sign-in drop-down menu, add your pet preferences to the form and hit ‘Create Alert’. On average, we send over 20,000 pet alerts every week!

A tech solution to connect more pets with adopters, faster
We are investing in technology to significantly lighten the workload of responding to pet enquiries for all our rescue members. The Matchmakers project will also improve the experience for all potential pet adopters and find the right home for pets faster.
By drawing on our learnings from Carsales and Airbnb, we are developing new website features, functionality and a whole new adoption enquiry management system. This will include online adopter profiles and Tinder-style functionality that will enable rescue groups to quickly shortlist potential adopters and redirect other applicants back to the website in one quick swipe or click.
The end result will be an online adoption enquiry system that’s faster, more efficient and more responsive, thereby helping save more lives. Find out more about the Matchmakers project here.
