The Home2Home team is working hard behind the scenes to think creatively to get your pet as much interest as possible. There are also a few ways you can help spread the word about your pet's listing.
Print an adoption poster
On the right-hand side of your pet's listing, you’ll find a grey button titled 'print an adoption poster'. You can print a poster and pin it to community noticeboards at your local supermarket, vet, school, or coffee shop or drop it in mailboxes around the neighbourhood (this is a great way to keep the kids busy!).
Use your network and share your pet's listing via social media and in any relevant social media groups. Make sure to include the listing URL so everyone can see your pet shine and so that you receive all the benefits of the Home2Home program.
Adding content
Another way to increase the impact of your pet's profile is by adding more photos and videos. Great images help get pet’s into new homes - it's that simple. Here you’ll find some tips on taking stand out pictures of your pet. Videos are a great way to show more of your pet’s personality, and it helps potential adopters imagine the pet in their lives. Once you've captured the winning shot, don't forget to email it to the Home2Home team, and we'll add it to their profile.
Word-of-mouth
A little self-promotion won't hurt. You can mention your pet's rehoming in conversation with neighbours, friends, family members, colleagues etc. Your friend's cousin may just be a great match for your pet!
Together, the more people we reach with your pet's listing, the more chances there are to find their new home.
