Here’s a snapshot of the latest member updates across the PetRescue platform. We really hope these features make your rescue life that little bit easier!
Clone feature
It’s not science fiction. A quicker, easier way to list multiple pets is here!
Use the clone button to copy over basic pet details to a new profile. Everything except name, gender, medical notes and microchip number will be copied across to the new listing.
This functionality is super handy to save time when listing litters of puppies, kittens, guinea pigs, greyhounds - or anytime you have several pets with similar characteristics.

Report abusive or spam enquiries
The PetRescue community is not just about kindness to pets, it’s about kindness to people as well. That goes for conversations involving the public, members, or the PetRescue team.
We know occasionally things can turn nasty, so we’ve introduced the ability to report abusive, misleading or spam enquiries.
If you do receive an abusive or spam enquiry, you can now report it using the ‘Report’ link. The enquiry will then be reviewed by the PetRescue team, and we’ve added functionality to block abusive or spam messages.

Hopefully, you won’t need to use this too often, if at all - but it’s there if you need it. We’ve got your back!

Default source numbers/breeder IDs
This one’s for the VIC, SA, NSW and QLD groups...
Group admins can now save your organisation’s source number/breeder ID in your main group profile section.
This will feed through to all relevant profiles, so you won’t have to enter these long, fiddly numbers every time you create a new listing. Time-saving for the win!

Sort and filter your enquiries
Off the back of member feedback, we’ve introduced some additional features within the enquiry messaging platform.
You can sort your enquiries by unread messages and archive old messages that are done and dealt with.
Please let us know what you think - you can email the member support team via members@petrescue.org.au anytime you have feedback, questions, or brilliant ideas you’d love to see on PetRescue!
