The Association of Pet Dogs Trainers (APDT) Conference is being held on the Gold Coast, Queensland at the Sea World Resort from Friday 30 October – Sunday 1 November 2015.
APDT has put together an impressive list of guest speakers who each specialise in specific areas of dog training, and most of whom will have flown in from the States and Europe to attend. The conference is a great place to network and share stories with others interested in dog behaviour and training.
Hear from a trainer who specialises exclusively in dogs with separation anxiety. Malena DeMartini-Price, CTC, is a San Francisco SPCA Academy for Dog Trainers honors graduate with over 14 years’ experience; in that time she has worked with several hundred separation anxiety cases. She has found numerous creative solutions for a disorder that often baffles guardians and trainers alike.
Robyn Hood, Senior Instructor of the Tellington TTouch Method has been teaching TTouch for dogs for over 20 years and is another of the guest speakers currently lined up.
Nando Brown, Head Trainer for In The Doghouse training & behaviour centre in Spain, who has trained and studied under world renowned Jean Donaldson & Dr. Ian Dunbar, will also be appearing.
