Bush Dogs & Pups rescue at risk dogs from remote indigenous communities. Bush Dogs & Pups is 100% volunteer run and aims to rescue, rehabilitate, re-home & reduce (via desexing) abandoned and homeless animals in North Queensland. All donations received go DIRECTLY to assist the animals via vet work, food and medicine

Reduce, rescue and rehome - Bush Dogs are numerous in FNQ for many reasons. Lyn with community help is trying to reduce the numbers of dogs by rescuing them from remote locations, getting them veterinary (including desexing) attention, fostering and rehabilitation in hopes to rehome for a brighter future.

This rescue operation came about as the number of Bush Dogs has increased, these dogs are not 'feral' - the majority are approachable. The dogs are usually in very poor condition, many animals unfortunately die due to starvation and malnutrition due to parasites (worms, fleas, ticks and mites).
