Bullmastiff Rescue Australia was established in 2007 and is an organisation of dedicated volunteers with significant breed experience in the purebred bullmastiff. Our volunteers are all active members of state breed clubs and work for the preservation and protection of the breed.
Our organisation is fully supported by the Bullmastiff Breed State Clubs and supported by the National Bullmastiff Breed Council.
Bullmastiff Rescue Australia is a not for profit organisation and fund raise to meet the veterinary needs of the bullmastiffs in our care.
Submission of an Expression of Interest by the interested party in an available bullmastiff.
EoI is reviewed by our panel of breed specialists for suitability against screening requirements
A meet and greet for suitable applicants
Positive meet and greets progress to a property inspection and yard check
Bullmastiff joins family on a 2 week trial period with a return to BMRA if unsuitable
Adoption available to right family of successful completion of the 2 week home trial
Adoption fee of A$350 payable to BMRA on completion of adoption documentation
Bullmastiff has a return to BMRA built into contract in all cases where situations change, dog is no longer suitable
