RSPCA South Australia – Protecting and caring for all creatures great and small since 1875.
All cats and dogs up for adoption at our shelters are vaccinated, wormed, microchipped, vet checked and desexed. All other animals are also in optimum health when placed for adoption.
Our dedicated staff spend hours providing behaviour assessments or training to animals available for adoption. In some cases, our professional trainers provide training for shy dogs to help them come out of their shells and to dogs who need to learn some extra manners. These dogs benefit greatly from this one-on-one care and many are now in loving forever homes.
Passionate volunteers at our shelters spend their time exercising, cuddling and socialising the animals in our care. This helps reduce stress levels and prepares our animals to be someone’s loving companion.
When you adopt from us you know we have invested many hours making your new pet happy, healthy and ready to settle into a loving forever home.
Our knowledgeable staff will also be able to assist you with your questions, recommend suitable adoption options for your lifestyle, and products you will need to care for your new pet.
Please contact the RSPCA on 08 8329 6000 if you are interested in adopting any of our listed animals. This will ensure that we can advise you further about the animal that you are interested in and let you know if the animal is still available for adoption.
We also often have a range of other animals available for adoption. Some examples include Rabbits, Guinea Pigs, Rats and Birds.
