About Maggie *On Trial in Her New Home*
*MAGGIE IS CURRENTLY TRIALLING HER NEW HOME* Are you looking for an instant doggie family without going through the “puppy stage”? Then you can’t go past these gorgeous girls! Maggie and Missy are lovely little sisters who have never been apart, you can tell they’ve been loved and well looked after which is why the decision to rehouse them has been so difficult for their owners to make but we have promised to find them a loving home where they can be together forever; will it be with you?
Adopted from a local pet shop when she was only 8 weeks old Maggie is the more reserved of the pair when meeting new people but once she sees that Missy likes them she’s more than happy to enjoy her share of cuddles and attention as she really loves human contact. She and Missy also adore each other and thoroughly enjoy each other’s company although they draw the line at sleeping together so they each come with their own little kennel! The girls are usually good when meeting other dogs although they can get a bit scared of big dogs. They’ve never lived with cats though we could test them if required.

Maggie is always very willing to please and do as asked. She walks well on a lead and has learnt to stop and wait before crossing the road on her daily outing; she even has good recall when off-lead. Clever Maggie has lovely manners, knowing both “sit” and “high 5” and she loves a good game with her treat ball. Neither dog is licky or in your face and they don’t jump up except if they’re really excited or you ask them to; and they’re not diggers or chewers. They are energetic little dogs but not full on. Maggie enjoys her food though isn’t greedy as a bowl of dry can be left out during the day for the girls to share although when it comes to treats Maggie can be a little dominant over Missy but a stern word usually stops this silly behaviour.
We would love to honour our promise to find Maggie and Missy a home together where they can enjoy an inside / outside lifestyle and be part of the households goings on. Secure fences, daily walks, bones to chew and toys to play with will make these lovely dogs very happy indeed!!
