About Carly
I am trying a new home to see if i like it. Carly is lovely girl, who has settled into foster care well. She was a little hesitant at first but is now running around the back yard with her two doggy friends chasing a ball so another small dog for company is essential. Carly loves a scratch and a pat while gazing up at you with her beautiful puggy face but is not a demanding dog and has no problems with cats at all. She is house trained and has also mastered the dog door. Carly doesn’t dig or bark unnecessarily and is good with her food. Walking on a lead seems to be new to her but, with gentle encouragement, she will be enjoying walks to the park in no time. When it comes to bed time, carly curls up on her own bed next to her doggy friend and there she stays till morning. Carly would suit a range of homes and although small children may be a little daunting, kids over 8 years old would be fine. Update 15 october: carly has been in foster care for nearly two months now and she has achieved so much. Her carer's believe she has been used primarily for breeding so being allowed indoors and becoming part of any family is a new experience for her. Carly is continuing to blossom every day and tummy rubs are a new sensation as she has only been able to trust anyone to do that in the last few days. Carly gallops around the backyard chasing the ball with the other dogs. She won’t pick it up but seems to relish the experience. . . Room to move and dogs to chase so life is good! carly loves a bit of a tussle and then a cuddle. She is a gentle soul who is still a little shy but would love someone to play and spend time with her. But most of all, carly needs someone patient and willing to love and reassure her so she can become the confident, fun loving girl that she wants to be. Carly is not a 'needy' girl but just needs her faith in people restored. She gets along well with her foster carer's own two dogs and one moody cat. Carly comes desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, wormed, on heartworm prevention and with nsw local council lifetime registration for $400 and is not available for adoption outside nsw. If you would like more information on carly or to arrange to meet her, please phone 0466 690916 (between 8am and 7pm only) or email using adoption enquiry as your subject heading.
