Mindi is a gorgeous gentle lady. She came into care with heartworm and after treatment is now ready for her furever home.
Having experience from her age, Mindi is able to perform basic commands. She has also shown her foster family how smart she is by learning how to use the doggie door and how to break into the food storage container. She has an insatiable appetite and does need to be slowed down at meal time with a snuffle mat and lick mat.
Mindi is always a ray of sunshine in the morning with her little ‘good morning’ butt wiggle and gives a sweet bouncy welcome when you come home (however she is not a jumper). When you are home, she will want to be close by but once established understands where her ‘mat’ is when you are resting.
It is very unique for Mindi to bark. She is a girl who only speaks when there is something important to say and check on. Other loveable noises out of Mindi are the cute soft snoring or the little old lady farts when asleep (but this has settled with her consistency in the same food).
Mindi travels well in the car. Walkies will need to be on the lead as her hearing isn’t the best, so recall off lead may be an issue. She is a lady that likes to sniff everything and take her time around the block.
Mindi is the perfect lady for someone looking for a companion that has a bouncy personality but not the puppy exuberance.
Mindi is $200 to adopt and comes desexed, C5 vaccinated, HW treated, and given flea/tick/worm prevention.
