About Luna
* Please read the entire profile
*Only available for adoption within NSW
* Must go to a home with another young medium/large dog (up to about 30kgs or so ok) dog as she loves to play, and this helps with her separation anxiety.
PROFILE AND NEEDS IN A HOME
Luna is a very special, beautiful, affectionate young girl with lots of love to give, she will greet you with many kisses and loves to curl up with you on the couch so a home where cuddles on the couch are permitted is absolute must of course.
She is very super friendly, loves people and fantastic with other doggies.
We are looking for a home with another medium-large breed (up to about 30 kgs or so would be ok) friendly/playful dog as Luna loves a good romp and play with her current foster brother.
It would be great if her new owners were home regularly as she just loves to be with her humans, however Luna is ok to be left for 5 or 6 hours at a time provided she has another dog for company and a doggie door so that she can have access inside and out (not necessarily access to all areas of the home when you are note there)
As with all of our dogs she must be permitted to sleep inside of a night in a cosy area of the home. Luna currently sleeps in her carer's bedroom so a home where this would be permitted would suit Luna best.
She would be suited to home with children over the age of about 8 or so as she is great with children but may be a bit exuberant for younger children.
Luna must go to an active home that will get her out and about daily for exercise and adventures.
We are looking for adopters who are looking for a dog to truly be part of the family, access inside, daily adventures and exercise, mental stimulation, consistent force-free training, and of course lots of love and attention!
She loves a good game of Tug-O-war, running around with a ball in her mouth and a good beach day catching the waves.
Luna is house trained, walks well on her lead, crate trained and has previously lived with cats.
We do not believe that Luna has travelled regularly in a car in her previous life. Her care is working on this with her and Luna is now ok to travel 20-30 minutes in the car so shorter trips are best for Luna in the short term until she gets a bit more used to the car and gets to know that there are fun adventures at the end of the journey
Luna is a great dog and such a joy to be around, she deserves a home who will treat her with kindness, respect and love.

Adoption details
SAS will arrange a "meet and greet" with our rescue pet and we offer a two week trial period if we feel that the rescue pet and the prospective family are well matched.
