About Taylor
Taylor’s quite playful and energetic. She loves setting out on walks. 20 to 30 minutes will be enough to satisfy her and she can snooze the rest of the day away. Taylor has bursts of energy before her routine morning and evening walks where she’ll play with one of her toys and do some zoomies but will usually be quite calm and sleep for the rest of the day if there’s nothing else going on.
On her walks it is quite evident that Taylor loves people so much and will go up to anyone in the street to say hello. She’s so confident around people. On her walks Taylor is very happy to meet polite medium and large dogs too. Taylor hasn’t quite worked out what these little jumpy fluffy things are though. Off-lead parks would be too over-stimulating for our Taylor.
Toys are a very important part of taylor's life. She may even sneak off with your fluffy jacket as a treasure if you aren’t looking too. Taylor can be quite playful with her foster brother but she understands his signals. There is a time to play and a time to chill. So chill girl.
Taylor would be very happy sharing a home with another suitable dog but also as an only dog.
Taylor is a funny loving miss, she will bring a smile to your face every minute. On her walks you will be very proud of your young beauty as she charms the entire neighboughhood.

Adoption details
Dogs are pack animals and Greyhounds, in particular, are very familiar with being surrounded by other dogs in their racing kennel environment. For this reason, when left alone without people or other dogs for company, they can be prone to separation anxiety which can manifest in destructive and/or noisy behaviour. Yes, they may "grow out" of it after a few weeks in their new home, but why put the dog through that stress to ultimately live all day alone, while everyone is at work? As a result we do not rehome dogs into households where they are left on their own for more than 4 hours per day, without either people or another dog for company.
During the COVID crisis, not all of our rescued Greyhounds will have the usual socialisation with other dogs so we may advise to use a muzzle in some situations until the dog is fully socialised.

Following your initial application, we conduct a home check. Our dogs are placed on a two week trial. The adoption fee is paid at time of placement and reimbursed if the trial is unsuccessful.
After the trial period is deemed successful, the adoption process is finalised.
