Hi everyone, my name's Winnie but my foster mum often calls me baby girl because I LOVE a good snuggle and I'll lay in your arms like a big baby if you let me!!
I can be pretty shy and timid at first, especially outside of my home environment but I've found a lot of confidence in my big foster bros so I'd really love my new family to have another dog to learn from.
I might be petite but I can play bitey face and wrestle with the big boys so a playful doggy friend is a must!! When we've had enough play time (or I've tired out the older dogs), I'm learning all about crate training and my foster mum says I got it straight away... but I'll pretty much do anything you want for food!
I was quite a skinny girl when I came into care so I get fed in my crate away from the boys, but I learnt very quickly to sit and wait my turn for treats.
I am still a puppy and I am still learning lots of things, like not to jump up when my foster mum gets home from work and the sofa isn't to be used like a jungle gym.
I do need daily walks and mental stimulation so I can be on my best behaviour whilst you go to work. I'm definitely not a destructive pup but I'm very clever so I will get bored if not challenged! I would really like a family that would take me to doggy classes as I LOVE to learn new things. Once I build some confidence I may even enjoy some dog sports like agility or scent-work.
I really am a delight to have around, I just need a new family to build my confidence and show me the worlds not such a scary place. I'll give you the best cuddles in return!
Winnie is $300 to adopt and comes desexed, microchipped, C5 vaccinated, heartworm checked and given flea, tick and worm preventatives.
