About Abi
Hi, my name is Abi and I’m looking for expressions of interest to find my furever family to call my own.
I was surrendered to the pound by my previous owners who could no longer look after me. I spent a few days in the pound hoping that I wouldn’t have my puppies alone and in a concrete kennel.
I was busted out of the pound by Deaf Dogs Rescue Australia just before my puppies were born. I had my puppies in a warm, secure space in my Foster Mummy’s bedroom where she could watch me and make sure we were all safe.
Now that my puppies are getting bigger I’d like to start looking for a home of my own so that I can be someone’s confidant and best friend.
I may be deaf but that doesn’t stop me from having a big heart. I’m loving, loyal and gentle. I know many of my signs and would love to learn more. I feel safe when I sit between your legs. I will gaze lovingly at you with my soulful eyes - my hooman is my world.
I am a 4 year old Bull Arab x but I’m a petite girl at just over 25kg. I’m dog friendly after a proper introduction. I’d prefer a furparent(s) who is home more often than not as I get a bit scared if I’m home by myself.
Deaf Dogs Rescue Australia will provide training support to my new family.
