About Bruce
G'day the name's Bruce!
I'm a big goofball looking for my forever family made up of adults who are gentle who understand big dogs like myself.
I haven't had the greatest start to life, so I'm hoping my new people will take things slow while I build my confidence with the big wide world and the people around me.
I will need a backyard in my forever home as it is where I'm most comfortable, however I would also love to be welcomed inside like a true family member.
Bruce adores people so much that he wants to be beside you always. The perfect home would be with someone who is home during the day or one where he could come into work daily with his owner... he is an AMAZING office dog (gives great cuddles, is toilet trained, doesn't shed much and is happy to sit on his bed all day and play with his chew toy). He gets along with others dogs but would prefer to be the only pet in the home... he wants all of your love to himself!!
My favourite things to do are taking a dip in my shell pool, playing with my toys and learning new skills using reward based training methods.
If you have a big heart and are looking for a friend to spend your days with then look no further than Bruce!
**Application Process** When on the Pet Rescue profile push the "enquire about this pet" button. Follow the prompts to "send enquiry now" and in the message section please place information about the home you can provide. Include current/past pets and their breed, children including ages that live with you or visit, and any other information relevant to training/exercise/energy requirements. The information you provide helps us match the dog you've applied for to the most suitable home. We use this information in lieu of an application form. We do not take applications for dogs over the phone. We aim to reply to all applications within 5 business days. All of our dog meet and greets occur at the adoption center in Craigieburn. The majority of our dogs are in a foster home not at the shelter so you need to apply via the website to meet them. Thank you. www.secondchanceanimalrescue.com.au ...because they all deserve one!
