Sunny is a happy-go-lucky girl who loves everything and everyone.
She is very affectionate and active. She plays well with other dogs but tends to be fairly clingy and in their face a lot, so a doggy friend who is well balanced and tolerant of her puppy ways would be ideal. Sunny loves strong chew toys and interactive treat dispensing toys to keep her mind active.
She has learnt very quickly how to use a doggy door and will go to the toilet outside if she has access to the yard. She sits for food, waits for her dinner, sleeps well in a crate at night, and is starting to learn to walk on a lead.
Sunny would be best suited to an active family where she will be taken for regular walks and outings. She also loves snuggling with her foster Mum and dogs on the couch and bed, so would love to be allowed access to both inside and outside.
Although Sunny doesn't live with kids she has met them a couple of times and shows a lot of love towards them. She hasn't shown any aggression at all while in care and enjoys all the attention she receives. She is such a friendly and affectionate girl that she licks people to express her love for them.
Sunny has seen chickens and was a little too enthusiastic about meeting them so we don't believe she would be suited to a home with chooks or birds in general. She has only met cats that are not dog friendly and unfortunately when they run she wants to give chase.
Sunny currently lives in a home with 6ft fencing but we believe she would be ok with 5ft fencing as well, as she hasn't shown any interest in trying to escape.
