About Lucy
PLEASE EMAIL ME Keetamouse@grapevine.com.au AND TELL ME ABOUT YOU AND YOUR LIFE STYLE/FAMILY, AND WHAT Lucy's LIFE WILL BE LIKE FOR THE NEXT 6-7 YEARS SO I CAN MATCH HER TO YOUR LIFESTYLE.
DO NOT CALL ME AS I DO NOT TAKE ENQUIRIES BY PHONE HAS TO BE IN WRITING VIA EMAIL.
THIS WILL ENABLE ME TO CHOOSE THE RIGHT HOME FOR HER.
PLEASE READ THE CRITERIA CAREFULLY IF YOU DO NOT TICK "ALL" THE BOXES FOR HER THEN I WILL NOT BE REPLYING TO YOUR EMAIL IT WILL BE DELETED.
I WILL BE INUNDATED WITH PEOPLE WHO WILL FIT THE BILL AND DON’T WANT TO HAVE TO SIFT THROUGH THE ONES THAT AREN’T AND DON’T HAVE TIME TO REPLY.
Lucy is a cross breed, maybe a little bit of 3 different breeds so Cav/Malt/silkie who knows what she has in her, she is 8-9 years old and she still loves a play so will need the following in her new home.
1. Lucy will need another dog for company and a small dog also as she is only around 5-6 kilos, also an older dog around her age as she can't be annoyed by puppy play, she will play for a short time but then has enough.
She is best suited with being the second dog in the home not the 3rd as introducing a third female is not ideal as the pack is already established and the 3rd is normally left out.
2. the home needs a dog door
3. she needs access to inside/outside during the day and night
4. a retired/active person/couple who want another small dog around Lucy's age for company for their other dog.
Lucy will not be rehomed with Min Min her daughter so please don't enquire about the 2 of them together as I have already stated that she needs another dog around her age and Min Min is only 18 months old.
She is not suited to a home where she is only a "companion" to sit around all day doing nothing, she has many good years in her and she needs to live them with outings, by the beach would be ideal, out in the open etc
so as you can see her requirements are very clear and as mentioned I will not be able to reply to your email if you do not fit the bill.
Her adoption fee is $600 as she needed a dental and am just covering some of my costs.
She cannot be rehomed interstate except NSW/Canberra as she is in NSW now.
Adoption details
To enquire about a dog in foster care please email the foster carer in the first instance (using the contact details listed with the dog's description).
The foster carer needs to know about you, your family, and any other pets, about your lifestyle and accommodation, and about the type of dog you want, so that they can help work out if the dog you have selected is right for you.
For dogs, foster carers will also carry out a 'home check' where we look at fencing and shelter for the dog to make sure they are adequate, and advise on anything that needs to be done to make sure your dog will be safe and comfortable.
