Forest is the farther to Chip and while Chip is outgoing and readily interacts with people, Forest is a bit more reserved. These 2 boys can be adopted together or separately as they both live in the boy herd.
Their adoption fee is half the normal as they did have a home for a bit, but sadly the adopters lost interest and they had to come back into care. Both boys upon arrival had lost over 300g in just a few months and had upper respiratory infection which is now cleared.
They have both sprung back quite quickly and well so are ready to be adopted, they are long Desexed so safe around the ladies. I do think with time Forest could become like Chip, as before adoption he was very sociable and loving.
Chip is adopted and has a lovely girlfriend
As he is living comfortably with a herd of 10 males he must have a companion, gut stasis and a timid companion pet are real possibilities. Guinea pigs should always be housed with a companion guinea pig they get along with.
