About Eira
Hello
My name is Eira, a very sweet but very active young medium sized pup.
My sister and I ended up at BARC as Strays, because we were so young we went into foster care were we socialised with Dogs, kids and cats. I still need a little guidance especially around cats as I don't yet understand that they are not for chasing.
I'm a very happy little pup who would love a home where I would be allowed inside to hang out with the family and watch T.V. I love a cuddle and will happily fall asleep on you.
I am good with kids however because I am still so young I sometimes jump on them and can be a little mouthy, so will need some help with my training. Between me and my sister I am certainly the dominant pup and am looking for a home with someone who can assist with ensuring I don't become too assertive.
Toys are my favourite thing in the world and I will need to have LOTS of toys around. I would be a great pup to do training with and I would really benefit from having an older dog at home to learn from and better understand how to be a well-rounded dog.
Looking for a home with medium to large dog experience willing to love me forever and accept that I will chew your shoes, have accidents in the house and possibly assist with renovating the garden whilst I grow. I will develop into an attractive medium sized dog and staff at BARC believe I may have Bull Arab in my background which may give you an indication of my intended size.
I am available for adoption via application only and ask that if you are interested in adopting me you send an e-mail with some info on your lifestyle AND a completed adoption application form available from BARC's website www.bendigoanimalreliefcentre.com.au

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
