About Daxter
OK Cavvy folks, Dax needs you!
This sweet boy was surrendered to us because he won’t stop head butting the chook yard!
He has always lived outside in the yard, while his parents worked. He is a shy little dog on first meeting, but with quiet consistency in foster care, he is realising life is good. He has found that relaxing on the recliner with me is a darn good way to spend the evening.
Dax is learning about the doggie door, although he still finds it scary. He has also started his toilet training.
He is a little ‘portly’ and does need to lose some weight, but as you can see he now ADORES his early morning daily walks on leash, and he thinks car rides are fabulous!
He is friendly with all the other dogs in care, but doesn’t desperately need a dog in his new home.
Dax needs his forever home to be a committed one, one who will continue his daily exercise routine. One who has humans around the home most of the time. Preferably no children, to allow him to calmly become the dog he always should have been.
PLEASE NOTE we are located in Moree, northern NSW. Due to all the COVID restrictions, you must drive to collect Dax if you are successful in adopting him.
PLEASE DO NOT CALL US, we are volunteers who are working as hard as we can. Send in your enquiry, then sit for us to contact you if we need to.
Please click on the Enquire about this pet button, and tell us about yourselves. How long will Dax be alone during the day, if at all?
Please also tell us the following......
1) That everyone in your household is on board and happy to adopt Dax.
2) You are happy to commit to drive to collect Dax if successful.
3) You have Landlords permission to have a dog, if you have a Landlord.
