About Sherbet
Adoption Fee: $270
Sherbet came into our care quite a timid kitten, but has blossomed and now has a big personality. He is a very handsome young cat and just loves to play with anyone and anything, after which he will cuddle up on your lap for a snooze when he's had enough. He is good fun to have around. Sherbet is not afraid of bigger cats even if they tell him off. He's met children who visited his foster home and was pretty good with most of the noise and activity, although did run away to a quieter place when the loudness got too much for him... he wasn't far away though, he was nearby keeping an eye on the action! He has not been introduced to dogs.
Sherbet is litter trained and a very clean and tidy boy who is beautiful inside and out.
If you can offer stunning Sherbet a loving home, please fill out the adoption enquiry form on the SAFE website to apply.
MEDICAL NOTES
Adoption fee includes vet check, first F3 vaccination*, flea and worm treatment, microchip including the transfer of ownership, and sterilisation at a SAFE approved vet at 6 months of age (see list below).
*This kitten may require further vaccination/s to complete the vaccination course. These will be at the cost of the new owner (not included in the adoption fee).
ADOPTION DETAILS
To apply to adopt, please complete a SAFE Cat Adoption Enquiry Form via our website. You will be advised if your chosen kitten is still available and then put in contact with the carer for a chance to ask further questions. If a meet-and-greet is then arranged, we will email the adoption paperwork and payment instructions to you prior to this. Please note payment must be made before adoption trial starts and we are unable to take cash payment.
Our adoption process includes a two-week trial to ensure your chosen pet is the right fit for your home. After a successful trial period, SAFE Bunbury will arrange transfer of ownership on your new pet's microchip and email copies of their vet records out to you.
As this kitten is under 6 months old, one of the following approved vet clinics should be selected by the adopter to arrange for his/her sterilisation by the age of 6 months. The sterilisation surgery is included in the adoption fee:
Blair Street Veterinary Hospital, Bunbury - 9721 6778
Busselton Veterinary Hospital, Busselton - 9752 1433
Ninth Street Vet Clinic, Harvey - 9729 1915
