About Daisy ~ 3.5 yr Mini Foxie X (On Trial 28/01/21)
Everyone meet Daisy , a 3 and a half year old Mini Foxie cross (most likely with chihuahua). Daisy is looking for her perfect forever home with someone experienced with little dogs who can invest some time and effort into her training.
This sweet girl came into foster care with her fur sibling Poppy (who is available for adoption separately). Although they do get along well and seem to love each other’s company, they are holding each other back which is common when two pups from the same litter or age are kept together as pups (refer to Littermate Syndrome). So to help these girls spread their wings and become the best little dogs they can be they are better to be separated.
Their new family will need to have experience with little dogs , understand the value of positive training and set a routine that Daisy can understand and follow. Her history prior to coming into foster care is unknown - but she does need work such things as socialisation , barking, toilet training and walking on lead. As with many little dogs she loves to bark at other dogs when out walking so teaching her to be more social in that respect will be a priority for her new family.
She would suit a home with semi-retirees or someone who works from home (not just in COVID times). She has met kids older than 8 years and has responded well to them. So she may suit a dog-savvy family with respectful teenagers. She is not a dog to be carried around and man-handled as cute (especially by kids or their friends) - if she wants to be on your lap or picked up it needs to be her choice. She would enjoy a little fur brother if you happen to have a friendly small male dog already.
Daisy loves her humans and wants to be with them . Yes she has some training requirements (as do most dogs) but with some time and patience this little diamond will evolve into the best little dog she can be .
If you would like to apply to adopt Daisy please submit our application form at https://form.jotform.co/82217742684866 . Daisy is located in Mayfield 2304, NSW (Newcastle area) and is NOT available for interstate adoption.

Daisy’s adoption fee is $550 which includes desexing, microchipping and vaccinations. She is also wormed and flea treated.
