About Bruce- Dingo Mix
Hi my name is Bruce and I am a loveable big puppy looking for an active home where I can be a part of the family. I'd love someone who likes to jog or bike ride and wants to take me for a big walk or run each day. I pull a little on the leash, but I'm learning and I'm very food motivated. I know how to sit if you have a treat!
I like some other dogs, but need slow introductions and due to my size a boisterous nature if my new home has a dog, they'd need to be a large or medium doggy friend (no small dogs please). If you don't currently have a dog that's ok to, I'd be fine as a solo-dingo so long as my new humans are around a lot to keep me company.
I also like kids! But I might bowl over very small kids in my enthusiasm to play, so kids over 10 please!
I can't live in a home with cats, small animals, birds or an apartment.
Bruce is a dingo shepherd mix rescued from a rural pound. He needs a home with secure 1.8m fencing willing to continue his training and involve him in the family as he loves to be around people and has some minor separation anxiety (improved by being with other dogs).
Adoption details
Please note at this time pending legal advice we are unable to offer fox kit adoption to private owners.
Dingo Adoption:
1. Send an email inquiry with your name and contact details outlining your current living situation, pets and family members and anything else you think might be relevant, particularly what your house and yard are like. Remember our dingoes typically require an enclosure or modified fencing.
2. We will email you back adoption information and an application form to fill out and return to us.
3. If your application is approved- Come along to meet us and our dingoes at our Gouburn shelter or their foster carers home and let us find the right furry family member for you. We can also come to you. We drive dingoes all over NSW and the ACT to meet families interested in adoption.
4. Before you can pick up your new dingo you will also need to under a house/yard check and pay your adoption fee. No animals are rehomed unless their adoption fee is paid in full and a yard check has been completed.
