About Harvey & Dexter
Beautiful brothers Harvey and Dexter are sadly looking for a new home together as their wonderful owner has been diagnosed with late stage terminal cancer. She wants to ensure that her precious companions are safe and cared for, and we’d really love to help give her the peace and comfort of knowing they have somewhere beautiful to go when she passes.
These terrific tabby boys are very healthy cats with no medical history. They spend their days both Inside and outside (they’re usually outside for a few hours a day while someone is home, but they spent the first two years with their family as indoor only cats, so they’d be happy to live in a nice apartment).
They take a while to warm up to new people as they can be a bit shy, especially with unfamiliar visitors. But With time, love and patience, Harvey and Dexter will adore you and form a very special bond with you. In many ways, earning the love and trust of shy cats is all the more special and rewarding.
They keep to themselves when they’re in their garden and love a good sun bake if the weather is nice. They’re wonderful, easy going cats.
Harvey loves to chase the leaves in the backyard, and being young cats the boys are still full of playful antics and fun. 😅
They love routine and will be happy to hang around chatting to you when you are home. They are really gorgeous boys who would be best suited to a home without dogs, or too much noise and activity. With love and patience, they will become your new best friends.
Please contact us to inquire about these beautiful boys, and speak to Rosie or Sian.
Adoption details
Please contact the clinic and ask to speak with Rosie, our receptionist and cat adoption officer.
All cats and kittens adopted out from Drummoyne Veterinary Hospital MUST go to either an indoor-only home, or a home with a suitable cat-proof outdoor area or enclosure. Our mission is to make Sydney a better place for cats, their families and our precious wildlife. That means responsible re-homing. We want our cats and kittens to go to the safest, most loving of homes. We don't want them exposed to risks such as getting hit by a car, dog attacks, cruelty from people, injury or death from cat fights or dog attacks, or contracting infectious disease. We want them to live a long, happy and healthy life with their families; safe from harm :)
