Hi, my name is Roxanne or as my foster family calls me, Roxy.
I’m looking a special family who will love to play and snuggle with me. I may be a big puppy but I’m just a big softie. My foster parents think I’m adorable.
I’m still a little scared when I’m in unfamiliar places but I’m really enjoying going to the local cafe with my foster dad and meeting other dogs.
I love other dogs but sometimes I'm a little unsure at first. I enjoy playing with my extra-large foster doggy sister but also loved playing my little foster doggy brother. I'll need to have a doggy friend to play with in my new home.
I really love kids and adore being cuddled by them. I currently live with a 9-year-old and 11-year-old. I especially like it when they play with me. I love playing with soft squeaky toys and treat balls.
I have been learning commands to sit, stay and wait but I need a family who can continue with my training. I’m still improving with my toilet-training and only have an occasional accident when my foster family forget to let me outside.
I love my food as I’m a big puppy, I need to be feed lots. I have been cheeky at times and stolen food off the bench as my foster family were taking too long to feed me.
I’m looking for a family who can give me some extra TLC as I had a rough time before I came into foster care. I have made really good progress with gaining weight in foster care, but I will need to continue on a high-energy weight gain diet for the next few months. I need a family who understands the needs of extra-large dogs like me.
Medical notes
Roxanne will need a family who understands she is still underweight & will need a specialised diet until her optimum weight is achieved.
