About Tucker
Border Collie x Kelpie mix
Meet our extremely handsome, extremely clever boy “Tucker”. He is a total smooch and a very loving and loyal little boy. He already knows a number of commands such as sit, wait for food, and lay down. He is crate trained for night sleeps and has started on lead work.
Tucker is great with all another animals and kids. Very patient with them and doesn't rush livestock.
He would love a home with someone home a lot or a least have a doggie friend to keep him company if you are away. His favourite spot is cuddled up with you on the couch (thinks he is a lap dog). He also loves to hang out in the kitchen while you are cooking and is content to lay down and watch you do your thing.
A condition of our adoption agreement is that all dogs adopted from Chally MUST be put through obedience training, if you cannot meet this commitment please do not apply. All our dogs deserve the chance to be the very best they can be, and we will choose homes that will ensure this is the case.
IF YOU CAN TICKALL THE BELOW BOXES, PLEASE POP IN AN ADOPTION APPLICATION FOR US TO CONSIDER.
You have a large yard or live on acreage - Tucker won’t be alone more than 5hrs- You will allow Tucker to be part of the family and allow him access to indoors – You WILL enrol him in obedience training- you WILL provide him with daily exercise AND mental stimulation - You have experience with his breeds or have thoroughly researched them.
Applications with extensive details on the lifestyle you will offer Tucker, will be considered. Please note if you provide basic details only, we will be unable to process your application sorry.

All forms (including foster and adoption) can be found at the following link:

** Only applications submitted via this link will be considered **
Our adoption process is as follows:
1) Animal is listed on PetRescue
2) Applications are received
3) The application which we feel offers the best-suited home to the pet is contacted for first preference of a meet and greet to see if they 'click' with the animal.
We do not follow a first-in, first-served process and only consider applications completed via our online form.
Due the popularity of some dogs - and the fact that our rescue is run entirely by volunteers - we cannot guarantee that all unsuccessful applicants will be notified, however we will do our best.
