About Hercules
Say hi to this handsome face! Hercules is a sweet Mastiff x born on 24th January, 2017, who would love to find his forever home.
Hercules has a super sweet nature and he adores affection ... one could say he is a 100% love bug! He loves to spend time with his favourite people and is always ready for cuddles and belly rubs.
Legend has it that the Roman God Hercules is known for his super human strength ... no need to worry about that with our modern day Hercules ....
He loves to be out an about for a walk and he has very nice lead manners for a young man of his size and very rarely pulls.
Hercules has shown no interest at all in the cats and pocket pets at the facility and with a proper introduction could be rehomed with cats and/or pocket pets in the home. Although Hercules did previously live with a small dog, he has shown to be quite nervous around other dogs at the facility and would be best to be rehomed as the only dog in the home until further training and socialisation is completed.
He shows no signs of food aggression, however he does suffer from seperation anxiety and will need to find his perfect home with a family who do not leave him alone for long periods. When he is left alone, especially inside the home he can be destructive and would need his own safe area where he cannot hurt himself or your possessions.
Although Hercules does not seem to be bothered by loud noises, we would recommend he be allowed inside during thunder storms and fireworks where he knows he is safe.
Hercules is such a happy and affectionate guy, who would make a super loyal and perfect companion for the right family. He would love to be in a home where he is included as a member of the family and involved in the day to day activities. Hercules will thrive in an environment that guides him with positive direction and lots of love and attention.
Hercules's adoption fee is $450 and includes his desexing, lifetime registration, and 3 x training lessons with thanks to Wyong Dog Training. He is also regularly treated for flea and worms and is up to date with his vaccinations.

Adoption details
If you are interested in adopting one of our animals, please give the facility a call on 43044350 to make an appointment and ask further questions.
Staff will ask more about your lifestyle and the information you provide helps the facility to achieve the best match between the dog or cat and their new home.
Once all of your questions have been answered, its time to meet your potential new furbaby. This meet will be conducted at the facility unless prior arrangements are made by management.
After the meet and greet, a yard check will be completed at your home to ensure that your home and yard is suitable for the kind of pet you are interested in. Please bring to your appointment photos of your fencing also showing all gates that attach to the house.
Should you have an existing dog in your life, we will require a meet and greet to ensure that they get along.
The final step (pending agreement by both parties) is the payment of the adoption fee and filling in of associated paperwork for your new furbaby.
Congratulations, you have now saved a life!
