About Zelda
Please meet our super affectionate and beautiful Zelda. She gives the biggest smooches and loves to snuggle up with you on the couch. Zelda will do anything to please you, she is begging for a family to give her a life of fun and adventure. She is amazingly smart and would thrive in obedience and agility. Zelda is fantastic with other dogs, and fine with cats( although would like to play a game of chase with cats that run). Zelda is also good with all kids although would prefer kids over 5 years old.
A condition of our adoption agreement is that all dogs adopted from chally MUST be put through obedience training, if you cannot meet this commitment please do not apply. All our dogs deserve the chance to be the very best they can be, and we will choose homes that will ensure this is the case.
If you can tick all of the below boxes, please pop an application in for us to consider.
You have a large yard or live on acreage- Zelda won’t be alone for more than 5 hrs- you will allow Zelda to be apart of the family and allow her access to indoors- you will enrol her in obedience training-you will provide her with daily exercise and mental stimulation. You have experience with her breeds or have thoroughly researched them.
Adoption details
All forms (including foster and adoption) can be found at the following link:
http://www.challyanimalrescue.org.au/adopt.php
** Only applications submitted via this link will be considered **
Our adoption process is as follows:
1) Animal is listed on PetRescue
2) Applications are received
3) The application which we feel offers the best-suited home to the pet is contacted for first preference of a meet and greet to see if they 'click' with the animal.
We do not follow a first-in, first-served process and only consider applications completed via our online form.
Due the popularity of some dogs - and the fact that our rescue is run entirely by volunteers - we cannot guarantee that all unsuccessful applicants will be notified, however we will do our best.
