On Hold
Alfie is looking for his FINAL forever home. In his nearly 10 years, Alfie has had three homes that we know of and has been a resident at three different Animal Rescue groups. It's been a tale of unfortunate events for little Alfie, with each rehoming being due to family circumstance, and not through any fault of his own.
Alfie loves people, and will do what ever is necessary to get to them, including climbing fences, squeezing under gates and even opening doors that you think you have closed! He will only go as far as the nearest person though, and is very good off lead when you call his name. Alfie will need a home with a family that is home a lot, or are able to take him places with them. As long as he is safe and secure, either in a secure yard or inside, he is okay with being left alone. He would, however, prefer to be with someone!
When at the dog park, Alfie is quite the social butterfly. Happily saying hello to everyone big and small. He is also tolerant of small children, but has not lived with any for a little while now. Alfie is still quite active and will need regular walks and outings.
