About Onix
Hi everyone! Is anyone looking to add a one eyed house panther to their warm cozy home? If so, what about me?
I came into foster care with my mum and siblings, who all found homes of their own. I was initially a foster fail, but one of the other cats in the household sometimes picks on me, as I am quite timid and shy in nature. Because of this, my owner/carer made the tough call to consider adopting me out to a quieter household.
So, a bit about me? My name is Onix, and I am a three year old black one eyed domestic shorthair boy. My eye, or lack thereof, got an infection in my eye when I was young, and despite surgeries and treatment, it was too painful and had to be removed. But thats ok, it doesn't affect me at all!
As mentioned previously, I am a timid, quiet cat until I feel comfortable and really get to know my humans. I will need an understanding home that knows you may not see me for a few weeks- but I am a good boy and still eat and use the litter, just in secret. Once I settle in, I am such a lovely natured boy- very smoochy, will escort you to the loo, and join you up on the bed. I will need a quiet household- other non-dominant cats would be ok, and possibly even quiet dogs, but unfortunately no young children (as they scare me).
If you think I may be the boy for you, and you're willing to give me a chance, I will repay you with my love!
Medical notes
Onix has had one eye medically removed
