About June
June (f/1.5y)
Foster Carer required with view of adoption
Current Location - Illawarra, NSW
June is one half of littermates who were purchased together and she and her brother are fighting. For that reason they will be surrendered and we are finding places for each of them.
June has plenty of love and cuddles to give and she will play frisbee with you any day of the week.
Being still so young and needing some extra training, June can be jumpy and a little anxious at times, but with the right leader and boundaries we're confident she can be her best self.
June walks well on a lead, but can be distracted so ongoing training is a must.
Although she loves her pats, her absolute favourite spot is belly rubs, she will happily lay there for as long as you'll do it.
June would be best suited in a home without young children because she is just too jumpy and will knock little children over.
She cannot be with a cat *sorry* as the neighbour's cat used to tease the dogs and now June HATES cats.
At this stage we are trying to find a home for her without other animals, June needs to settle and we will re-asses her once she has been surrendered. Possibly down the track another dog can be added, but not at this stage as we will not set her up for failure.
June's best home will include the below:
- No other animals
- High School aged children
- Someone to continue her training
- Daily exercise to productively use her energy
- An open door policy
