About Oscar
I'm a sweet, shy, friendly guy who just wants to love and be loved in return.
I have lots of energy and enjoy going for a walk, run or swim!
I walk well on a lead, love going for drives in the car, and could probably easily be walked off lead as well. I'm an avid food fan and will scoff down my dinner, I sit very politely and wait until I'm told to eat it. I'm quite skinny as my brother used to steal it all but it won't take long before I'm looking my best.
I get along well with dogs of all sizes and love to play, I grew up with my brother and liked to follow him around, he was my role model. I'm definitely a more submissive dog and would prefer a home with another dog in order to help me feel more comfortable. I can get nervous with new people and new things and take a little bit to warm up, but there's not a mean bone in my body - I'm just a bit of a scaredy cat. I wouldn't be suitable to a home with multiple young loud children, but a home with teenage kids or quiet younger ones who will earn my trust will be good for me.
I am fully housetrained and enjoy being indoors with the family laying somewhere nearby.
I've always had a female owner, I'm extremely loyal and bond very quickly to my human, I will walk by your side, and hang off your every word just waiting to please you. I'm very intelligent and quick to figure things out. Outside I'll need a tall secure fence that I can't climb, as when I'm feeling a little anxious I may escape (which although I never go far and bring myself back, would not be ideal).
So, If you tick the boxes as an active person/family, 5ft + fences with no climbing capacity, another doggo mate (or someone home most the time) and would let me inside at night - please call the adoption line and let's make this official!-
