Barney is one of our long term shelter residents who his still patiently waiting for his forever home.
Barney is a funny cat who tends to catch the eye of many who pass him by in the cattery. You will more often then not find Barney curled up in his bed having a nice long snooze. Other times, you will find him tossing around his wobbler looking for food (he is very smart and loves a puzzle!).
Barney is looking for an understanding owner who will patient with him as he navigates his new surroundings and new family. Barney isn't fond of being carried around or being over handled. Barney does let you know when he has had enough pats well before he needs to give you a tap to say so.
Due to Barney preferring the simpler things in life and more so doing his own thing, he would be best suited to a household without any other little kiddies.
Please contact the friendly shelter team today on kempscreek@awlnsw.com.au to book an appointment to meet Barney.
Our Kemps Creek Shelter is open seven days a week from 10am - 3.30pm. To enquire about our beautiful shelter pets contact the team on 8899 3333 or come visit us at the shelter.
