About Jessies Girl
Jessies Girl is a small size med English Staffy x
She weighs just 22 kilos so not a big girl
Not suitable for a cat home as she is un tested
Children over 12 due to excitable behavior
. Jessieâs Girl is such an affectionate companion and will prove her love and loyalty as time goes on. She has no clue about what personal space is and will be up on your lap or cuddling on your chest at any opportunity she has. Jessie may only be 2 years old but she is definitely still a puppy! She loves to explore the backyard and loves to chew! Treats that will keep her occupied for hours with her chewing or toys that reward her with treats are her absolute favourite. She loves belly rubs and will tend to roll over onto her back in front of you whilst youâre trying to do something. Jessie has a very submissive nature and as soon as she knows sheâs done something a bit naughty she tends to drop onto the floor and roll on her back. Jessie hasnât had much training before so her foster parents have been trying to teach her from the beginning. She is able to sit and stay really well, however still practicing lay down and shake. It is important that it is understood, Jessie is still very much a puppy in a dogs body. She will need a household that is dedicated to continue to work on her training and obedience, whilst still showering her with love and affection.Jessie was only tested around children for a small period of time. However, Jessie is a very excitable puppy and does have the tendency to jump up on you. Whilst she is very gentle and not remotely aggressive when she does jump up, she could be overwhelming to some younger, smaller children. If Jessie were to go to a family home with kids, she would best suit older kids that would be able to handle her boisterous happy nature. Jessie is house trained and will wait patiently at the back door If she needs to go. She had 1 accident whilst with her foster parents, which was on the first night in a new environment. Jessie does sleep indoors on the couch or her bed at night. She has slept outside a few times with no issues, however she really does enjoy being inside as part of the family. She does show a keen interest in other dogs on her walk. She is happy to stop and say hello and give her doggy friends a sniff. Due to her puppy nature she sometimes goes into play stance and tries to have a play. It is extremely important that Jessie gets walked daily! Her new home needs to be able to accommodate this, otherwise she will get bored and restless. She is so well behaved on her walks. After the initial excitement of leaving the house fades, she does not pull on the lead and tends to walk next to you. Jessie will tend to look back at your during her walk, just to make sure youâre still there with her. It is very endearing! She does not like loud noises such as trains or motorbikes, however has made so much progress from when she first arrived.!Jessie has brought so much happiness into her foster home and it has been rewarding watching her blossom and grow into the loving girl she is. The ideal home for her would be a family that will treat her as part of the family and welcome her indoors as much as possible. It is preferred that she isnât left at home for large portions of the day, otherwise she could get bored and restless. She is still a puppy and will need a family who is still dedicated to help her grow and understand what is right and wrong. It is important her family walks her daily and involves her as much as possible. She needs to be showered with immense love and shown what it is like to be part of a stable family environment.Jessie and other DogsJessie's girl is very dog social Jessie is how we can put it,.... over loving and playful with other dogs to the point of being annoying!!!!She loves
