About Coco
I'm Coco and I'm looking for a new family to call my own.
What I need in my new home:
• Daily walks, trips to the park or beach, playtime in the backyard
• Further training with basic doggie manners
• Rides in the car
• To be allowed inside with my family
• NO CATS - I will chase them
• I have lots of energy so an active family is a must
• Secure Fencing (6ft Colorbond or equivalent)
• Lots of toys and mental stimulation
• A diet of good quality dry food to help keep my teeth clean
• Lots of love and attention
• I can be unsure around other dogs and will bark in their face, so perhaps being an only dog for now would be best but with lots of socialising with other dogs so I get grow in confidence around them
• SOCIALISATION is as important as training. Taking me to lots of different places, meeting lots of people (children, men, woman et) and meeting lots of dogs and other animals will ensure I grow into a social and well adjusted dog.
• TRAINING TRAINING TRAINING. It's ESSENTIAL I receive training in all aspects of my life so I can be the best dog I can be when I'm older.
• Large breed experience is a MUST
Things that I don't want in my new home:
• To be left alone in the backyard without any interaction
• Not to be allowed inside with my family
• Never to go on a walk or rides in the car
• Cats, rabbits, guinea pigs & livestock - I may chase & bark at them
• Small children - I am a very big puppy and when I'm excited I will jump up on people and can be mouthy
My best features:
• LOVE people - but as I've had no training I do get very excited and bouncy
• Very playful
• I can sit on command, somtimes
• Wiggle butt
• I love toys
• I love splashing about in the water
• Food motivated
• I love attention and having snuggles with my humans
Where I need to improve / Training required
• I can be a bit bouncy -training should stop this
• I will require full basic training as I've had no training experience yet
• I can be strong on the lead - training and walking me in a halti or harness may stop this, particularly as I am going to be a very large girl who needs to be walked daily. Without training now it's going to be very difficult to control me
