Millie is an amazingly smart active girl. She has one beautiful blue eye and one brown one. She is a little on the heavy side, so at a good fit weight she would be about 15 kg.
Millie can be a bit reactive on the lead but we think that she just hasn’t had the right people helping her. She is currently with a carer who is confident and interested in training her and Millie is responding well. Millie is really loving all the work and attention, but she’s always be a dog who needs to be the only pet, ( unless you are willing to put some one into it) no dog parks. Millie is quite active so being bored might result in some bad habits, so please tell us in your application what type of activities you would do with Millie and how you will keep her mind and body busy.
If you have anxiety ( or other mental issues) , she will pick up on this, so a calm kind person , calm mind, easy going, laid back attitude is better for her. She does suffer some storm anxiety , so good fences and someone home more often then not is very important ( you’ll need to mention all of these things in tour application)
Millie is so smart and easy to train, you just have to be willing, please put all of this in your application , please do not send an enquiry, just use the link to fill out the online questionnaire. This is very important.

Here are some quick tips to make your APPLICATION stand out:
Include as many details as you can about your lifestyle, family, accommodation, and work. Here’s some first-hand feedback from our member rescue organisations about what they'd like to see in your applications:
🐱 Why would this animal suit your home? (This lets them know that you've read the pet’s bio and considered their personality vs. your lifestyle)
🐾 Details about your family
🏡 Is your home quiet/relaxed or loud/busy? (Particularly important for timid cats). Ask questions, to show your are interested in the animals ell being.
Add questions into the application.
Fill out the profiles of your current pets if you have any. Understanding the personality of resident cats and dogs will help rescue organisations or foster carers determine if the pet will adjust to your surroundings.
Remember to be respectful and kind in your enquiries. A simple greeting can go a long way! Behind that screen is a real hooman, who loves and cares for the pet you're enquiring about just as much as you will!
Be open and honest - rescues prefer having as much information as they can about potential adopters.
