About Nala
🥰🌹 NALA 🌹🥰
Introducing the gorgeous Nala 😍 who is finally ready for her furever home after being in Rescue for 6 months!! 🥳
Nala is the sweetest, most chill girl around 💕 one of her most favourite things to do is to hang out with all of her favourite people 😊 She is big into feeling cozy and loves a cuddle on the couch 💖
Typical staffy feature with the occasional snore and snort 🤣 Nala is a very happy girl who is fantastic with children and other dogs (untested with cats), she would also be happy in a home as the only doggo who is the centre of attention 🥰
Nala adores food, so treats never fail and will always win her over :P She also loves to play with small bursts of energy, parading around the house with a toy in her mouth, wiggling from head to toe 🤣😍
This beautiful girl came to us 6 months ago off deathrow, completely shut down!! She started off not wanting to move much, then it was discovered she was terrified of a collar, lead, and even to leave the yard!! 💔
Due to what we can imagine is a very sad past this gorgeous girl is finally learning to walk on a lead and feel safe around cars, she is currently working on a training plan to ease the anxiety this causes and is doing quite well 🥰 She still has a fear of leaving the yard but with time with her furever family she will eventually learn it's alot of fun out of the yard 😊
You will not find a more adorable girl who just wants to love and be loved 🥰 Her ideal furever family are patient and kind and willing to continue her training to build her confidence on leaving the yard and walking on lead 😊 She would love a furever home with a decent yard for this reason, she isn't super high energy but since she is not comfortable on leaving the yard yet she will need a decent sized yard to be able to play in 😁
If you would like to meet Nala, please message for an application 💝
Medical notes
Anxiety caused by past trauma, fears leaving the fenceline and leads. Working on a training plan successfully.
Adoption details
ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. An Adoption application MUST be filled out prior to the meet and greet with the animal.
2. 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer will then take place. You must bring your current dog along to the meet and greet if you are meeting another dog/puppy, this is to ensure they get along before commencing adoption. If meeting a cat we do not recommend brining your current dog/cat as this may stress the cat/kitten out.
3. The animal MUST NOT be taken on the day unless PRIOR APPROVAL seeked, we will NOT ACCEPT the animal to be taken on the day if less then 2 days notice is given. If prior arrangement is made, an adoption agreement/s and payment must be made before collection of the animal.
4. 14 day settling in period commences once the animal has been collected from foster carer.
5. Adoption is finalised after 14 days and paperwork is sent via email.
6. All animals for adoption are kept up to date with vet work until date of adoption. Inclusive of vaccinations, monthly worming and flea treatment. New owners are responsible for keeping preventatives current.
As we are run entirely of volunteers we endeavour to respond to your email within 72 hours. Your patience is greatly appreciated.
PLEASE NOTE: WE CAN NOT HOLD ANY ANIMALS SO PLEASE ONLY APPLY IF YOU ARE READY TO ADOPT NOW
