About Petal
PETAL AND MICKEY HAVE STARTED A TRIAL TOGETHER IN A NEW HOME 29/10/20. PLEASE SEE HERE FOR FURTHER UPDATES
Petal is the pretty sister of Mickie.
They both came to the foster carer as two frightened little strays, who had never lived in a house or interacted with people. After a month or so of hiding under the lounge/bed and only coming out for food when no one was around they are now loving the home life.
Petal is a very beautiful pale, creamy ginger girl, (the photos do not do her justice) who loves lying in the sun on her bed during the day sleeping away. She loves looking out the window at the birds in the tree and enjoys being high up on things like her cage and the top of the scratching post. At night she comes to life with her brother and they race around the room chasing each other, jumping on the scratching post, playing with balls and causing mayhem.
She loves a pat and her tail stands straight up and she head butts you for more. She is not fond of being picked up at the moment, but I’m sure it’s only a matter of time as she really is very affectionate.
She loves her food and eats wet and dry cat food and loves cooked chicken. Petal will sit quietly in the kitchen looking at you with her big, dark eyes for her breakfast and dinner. She will also eat treats out of my hand and my husband’s hand.
She is very good with her litter tray and has been from the beginning, covering everything up very well.
Petal and Mickie are a fun and energetic pair who play together and would be happy to stay together. They would also be ok in separate homes where there is another playful cat for company.
