About Jessie
********************************
NO INTERSTATE ADOPTION
********************************
All About Me and My Unique Personality:
Jessie is a beautiful girl who absolutely adores people.
She is very well trained and loves praise.
Jessie does not bark.
She is able to walk with her human off leash.
Whilst Jessie is great with other dogs Jessie has issues with sharing her owners with other animals and whilst she is showing improvement in a relatively short space of time it would be preferable that she is the only dog with no little children to continue her retraining. She is currently living with two dogs, two cats, 4 chickens and 2 horses.
My Ideal Home:
Jessie’s home should have plenty of space to run around with high fences and no gaps under the fence.
Due to her protective nature and whilst she is relearning to trust it is advisable that she is the only dog with no small children. She is a very smart girl and is already responding to retraining due to her over protectiveness.
What is Known About My Background:
Jessie was found by the ranger in Muswellbrook. We suspect she has had a very strict upbringing.
How Do I Interact with Kids, Dogs, Cats and Other Pets:
Jessie is great with other dogs, reasonably ok with our cats and great with the horses.
The challenge comes when Jessie feels that her place in the pack is challenges and she becomes over protective. With training in a short period she is showing signs of improvement but it would be best to continue this training in an environment that has no other animals or small children.
