About Winnie ~ 10mo Bulldog X(On Trial 08/11/20)
Winnie is a sweet and goofy 10 month old Bulldog x Boxer looking for her forever family!
She is very playful and loves doing zoomies around the backyard but also loves snuggling on the couch or sitting. Winnie is convinced that she is a lap dog, despite her size!
Winnie has had lots of practice walking and walks gently majority of the time. She is very excited to see her harness come out, as it means she is about to go exploring.
Winnie is a people pleaser and loves everybody that she meets. She loves playing and chasing with other medium-sized dogs. She has met a few small dogs and behaves very gently. Winnie loves car rides, playing in the water or with the house, and tug of war.
Winnie sleeps inside at night and she lets someone know if needs to go outside to go to the toilet. Winnie understands basic commands such as sit, shake and lay.
Due to her size, it would be best to be placed with a family with adults or older kids (12+) as she can sometimes get a little rough or jumpy
Winnie would suit a family that is home often, as she would benefit from the quality time to further train and play with her. Winnie would also benefit from living with another medium sized dog to play with, however this is not necessary. Winnie requires a big yard with secure fencing.
Winnie is currently in foster care in Tighes Hill. If you think you could be Winnie's perfect match or you would like any more information about her, then please contact Jayde at jaydefosterdog@gmail.com. You can also fill out the adoption questionnaire here https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt
Winnie's adoption fee is $450 . She is desexed, vaccinated and microchipped. You can see all of our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au
Adoption details
(1) The first step is to fill in our online Adoption Questionnaire:
https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt
If there is a phone number listed in the dog's profile then you can also phone for more information.
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption. More details of our Adoption Procedure on our website: https://tinyurl.com/adoptproc
