About Keisha
Keisha is a great family dog. She has been found to be good with school aged children and dog savvy cats. She is happy to mix in with other social dogs.
Keisha is mostly toilet trained, alerting when she needs to go to the toilet. We believe she would quickly adapt to a doggy door.
This girl loves being inside being a part of the everyday family life. She is still a little unsure of men so needs a home that will continue to build her confidence and reassure her they are safe. (With her behaviours and nervousness around adult males we believe she has had some negative experiences in the past).
Keisha can still do a nervous wee (urination) when faced with new people or activities but is quick to recover. She is a playful girl that needs further training. She will need a committed lifetime home. We do not want this girl bouncing around different homes so we will be very thorough with our matching.
Keisha goes to her new home flea and worm treated, microchipped, desexed and had her first vaccination - C3 and Kennel Cough.
We are based in the rural area where things are a bit more relaxed around travel restrictions. If we find the right match in the stage 4 metro area we will be happy to transport providing the successful candidate is happy to help cover some of the costs for petrol and our time.
Adoption details
We like to take the personal approach where a person sends an email of interest around an animal and then we will follow up with phone discussions and email exploration through a survey.
Please note we are a small group of volunteers that balances the administrative side with the care of the animals.
Please only apply for one of our animals if you are genuinely interested in them.
We expect the prospective owner to travel to meet the animal and we are open to trial periods to ensure we have the match right.
