About Ollie
Ollie is a 1.5 year old Stag Hound x Whippet, so he is still a bit of a puppy and has a lot of energy and loves being let off the lead in a secure area to show you how fast he can run. If he has had enough exercise for the day he is happy to sit on the couch and sleep next to his humans (But he will let you know if he thinks he should be let out for some more zoomies.) He loves to play around the house with his tennis balls and toys. He will need an active and experienced home where he gets lots of exercise and a good amount of different activities to give him a good amount of mental stimulation.
Ollie has improved majorly out on walks and around other dogs, but he can still get excitable when meeting some dogs and will jump and land on smaller dogs. However, he loves playing with his friends at the dog park, mostly chasing and wrestling! He will be best suited to with an adult (not senior) desexed female dog who is robust and able to let him know when he's playing too rough.
He loves to be tucked up at the end of his humans bed, but knows he can only come up once invited (that doesn’t stop him from trying to sneak up there though). He normally has his own bed in his foster parent’s room.
Ollie has never really been on his own due to COVID, and so gets quite bad separation anxiety. However, since being fostered he has started on medication to help his anxiety and he has been left alone for a couple of hours without incident, so we are confident that with consistent training his anxiety will improve. This being said, his ideal forever home would have someone who is home more often than not.
He has come a long way in foster care but will still need extra attention with training and being taught doggy manners. He is very food driven and loves a challenge making training easy.
His forever home should have no cats or small animals, however Ollie has shown to love children so a home with another dog or children over 8 is ok!
Medical notes
ollie has just been prescribed medication for his separation anxiety which will be supplied by us while he's in foster care.

Adoption details
If you think one of our animals would be a good match for your home please email us and we will be in touch shortly after. We all work fulltime, have families and other commitments so your patience is appreciated.
We do require any other dogs in your home meeting our foster animal before they head home with you. This enables us to assess their compatibility and helps prevent them being returned and creating more confusion/insecurities for the foster animal.
All our animals are available for a two week trial with full refund. They are also covered by a lifetime return policy. If you ever find yourself unable to care for or keep your pet please contact us and they will come back into our care, this is a condition of our Adoptions.
