About Harlee *On Trial*
Harlee is our stunning black beauty! Harlee was a loved member of a local family, however their circumstances changed and they were no longer able to look after Harlee - She was lovingly surrendered to our care. That's where Harlee's sad story ends and her new life begins! This beautiful girl has made a total transformation and I'm proud to say she is a beautiful bun with a loving, gentle sole and a very cheeky and sometimes sassy personality. Harlee has been well handled and will tolerate some smoochie cheek kisses and cuddles but like most rabbits, she does prefer all 4 paws on the floor - Especially if there is head pats and ear scratches at the ready!
Harlee hasn't been fussy with her food and has been on a good diet with Burgess Mint pellets, plenty of fresh oaten hay, wide variety of vegetables and herbs with some fruit (limited amounts). Harlee has a particular favourite fruit......strawberries and will do just about anything for them too!
Harlee arrived in fantastic condition, her coat is shiney, perfect weight and her bright brown eyes are striking. Harlee is just over 10 months old and she has a beautiful short black coat. A weekly brush is all that's needed to maintain her coat and 2-3 times a week during a heavy moult. Yes, she has been desexed/vaccinated/microchipped by The Unusual Pet Vets.
As Harlee has been a single bun her entire life, there might be potential for her to be bonded to a desexed male but we expect Harlee to be a very spoilt single bun, something she has been accustomed too! We are looking for a lovely forever home for Harlee and know the right person or family is out there for her. Ideally, we would be looking for a person or family where Harlee would be indoors (pen setup) with supervised outdoor time and be apart of everyday living and routine.
Harlee's adoption fee is $185 which includes her desexing, vaccination and microchip at The Unusual Pet Vets.
Medical notes
Harlee has been thoroughly vet checked by The Unusual Pet Vets.
Adoption details
Thank you for taking the time to view our beautiful rabbits. We love them all and know you will too!
If you would like to know more regarding our rescue or considering adopting one of our precious bunnies, please contact us via phone or email. After our chat, if it sounds like you may be a suitable match we will send you through a application form (step 1).
Once we have received your forms and feel you would be a good fit for our rescue bun/buns, we will arrange a time for you to meet (step 2). On occasions (at our discretion) we may organise a house check to ensure that your setup is safe and secure. If all parties are happy to proceed, an adoption fee is paid and your welcome to take your new family member home on a 2 week trial (step 3). If after or anytime during the trial you are certain your new family member is going nowhere, the decision is made final and we make the adoption official! (step 4). On the other hand, if you have a change of mind or circumstance we ask you to contact us as soon as possible so we can make immediate arrangements for their return to the rescue.
We look forward to hearing from you soon!
