On Hold
Lola has spent most of her 18 months of life tethered in a back yard as the fencing was riddled with holes. Being so full of life, Lola liked to explore and saw the holes as portals to adventure!
Lola is a very energetic young girl. She has not had any training prior to arriving at the RSPCA, so has been working on her basic manners with the team of staff and volunteers.
Lola needs a home with someone who can help her learn all the things she has missed out on in the early part of her life. She will need plenty of time spent teaching her with consistent rules so that she understands good doggie manners. She likes other dogs, but is a bit rough in her play so if she lives with another canine companion, we recommend a very tolerant male who can not only put up with her, but set the example on how to behave.
Because of her high-energy, sometimes-a-little-too-rough play style, we definitely don't recommend Lola with young children.
We want to see Lola go off to a great home and live the life she deserves. We know she will be a little challenging to begin with, and may not be the perfect dog for every home, but she will repay all the effort put into her with love and loyalty. A bed in front of the heater, a daily walk, and good food, and Lola will be set for life.
