About Elisavet/ Izzy
Hello, I'm Elisavet and I'm from Transylvania originally, hence the name (okay, I don't know about that, but I like to think it). Don't worry, I won't bite and not because I only have one upper canine left. In fact, I will never bite or scratch. I love my human friends and I like to be with them in the same room as much as possible, or best of all, on their lap while they watch that big glowing picture device. I will lie there and purr as they scratch me under the jaw or on the back of the neck (my favourite two places).
I will not take long to become your friend. I might take a day or two to adjust to your house, and I think I will be okay with other cats provided you introduce us very slowly. I have heard about these creatures called dogs, but I don't know how I'll feel about them. I'm pretty chilled and friendly, so chances are I will be okay.
I am a soft white and grey shorthair with the cutest short tail. That's right, my tail is only half the length of normal cat; I was just made that way. I have some patches of fur missing on my belly because I have had some issues with allergies to fleas, but so long as you keep up the flea treatment, I will be happy as. My fur is growing back. I have a cute little half mew, but generally don't 'talk' that much.
I am not a big 'toy' cat, but don't mind chasing ping pong balls around when I'm in the mood. I'm also given to chasing things on the end of a wand, but you won't have to entertain me all day. Just let me hang out with you looking for a scratch under my chin!
I originally came from a house with too many animals and so I wasn't looked after properly but I hear that the cat lovers of Perth don't mind a secondhand feline such as myself. Please don't adopt me just because I am pretty but because you are able to give me a chance to have a happy future.
Adoption details
Just browse some of the photos of our beautiful cats available for adoption or come to our shelter in Shenton Park to meet our many beautiful kitties.
Please be aware that the cats featured on this page represent only a very small portion of the total number of beautiful felines we have available for adoption. We do not include any of our kittens on this page, as the turnover for youngsters is simply too high to keep up-dating, but we always have many beautiful kittens looking for homes!
Also many of our cats and kittens are currently staying in temporary foster homes out in the community but are still looking for a loving home, so please call Cat Haven in advance if you want to make arrangements for a meeting with a foster cat.
