About Sam the Frenchie
⭐️🐕⭐️ ATTN NSW/ACT: HELP US FIND A HOME FOR OUR BEAUTIFUL FRENCHIE - SAM! ⭐️🐕⭐️
Having arrived into our care from the RSPCA, Sam the Frenchie is ready to find his forever home as an ONLY pet.🐕
About Sam (please read carefully):
▪️ AGE: 8 years old
▪️ BREED: French Bulldog
▪️ LOCATION: ACT/Sydney and surrounds
▪️ KIDS: Not suited to kids
▪️ CATS: Not suited
▪️ ONGOING TREATMENT: Sam is on medication to help with his anxiety. This medication is giving Sam a chance to change his behaviour, by giving him a break from his anxiety. So far, it has had a positive effect and we feel time he may be able to be weaned off them, but will need to be re-assessed once he settles into his new home. Sam will also require periodic Synovan injections and a daily Glyde chew to help with his joints.
▪️ IDEAL HOME: Sam requires a family home environment that is quiet and relaxed, where he can feel safe and secure and be able to potter around at this own pace. He requires a patient family that will not push him but support him through his new chapter in life. 💖
We would love Sam to be adopted to a family whereby someone is home often ie. someone that works from home or to someone who is retired that will have plenty of time for him and with NO other pets of any kind and NO children.
Sam loves being inside with his family, gazing at them while being patted and cuddled. His new forever-home will need to be willing and able to patiently continue to encourage him to relax, like his foster family has for the past few weeks, and to not react in fear to movement.🤗
Ideally Sam's forever home will have experience in dealing with a dog who has a good heart and a loving personality, and can take the time and attention to settle him in and teach him how to live the frenchy life.
He absolutely adores his foster family (two retirees) and wants to shadow them around the house and garden 24/7!💖
He’s a good sleeper, likes to chew toys, eats well and is learning about good household routines at his foster home. He is not yet house-trained, but is quite intelligent and learns new routines quickly.
He is a sweet, affectionate boy who craves affection and company, and deserves a better life than what he has known in the past. With the right forever home he will be a devoted, affectionate companion.🐕
We know there is a loving and dedicated family out there that would be perfect for Sam so if you believe you are able to provide him with the loving home that he deserves, we would love to hear from you.
