About Boronia
Hello there, I am Boronia.
I came to BARC as a stray, and no one came to get me. So here I am looking for a new home and family to call my own.
If you're looking for a sassy lassy who loves a chat then look no further! I am absolutely gorgeous, and boy do I know it! I love to have a chat, and I will always let you know how I am feeling or what I want.
I am quite petite and still a young girl but I have a very confident and relaxed personality.
I do not like other cat, it's non-negotiable. I am the only cat for you, and you will be so enamored with me you'll never think about another cat ever again, promise!
I would be best in a home with older children, who can understand me and will respect my boundaries. Older than 12 years of age would be ideal. I'm not sure how I would go with a dog, I am a very strong personality, but please have a chat to staff if you have a dog and think we would get along.
If you think you could be ready for a Beyonce... I mean a Boronia in your life, give BARC a call on (03) 54412209 to book your essential meet and greet appointment.
Please not that we will not be taking booking from stage 4 lock down areas.

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
