About Anna ๐ผ
This gorgeous little girl is Anna, our 12 week old Wolfie x Smithfield Cattle x Staffy. She is one of 4 pups currently in care ๐
Anna is in care with her sister Cleo, and whilst they do enjoy each others company, there has been some food aggression with treats and anything other than their normal meals, so this would need to be dealt with while still young. She is an absolute sweetheart around people and with ongoing training in her new home, would make a loyal, confident family dog.
Both girls are sleeping inside, and starting to get the hang of using puppy pads during the night. If she was to be an inside/outside dog in her new home, you would need to also be prepared to continue on with toilet training. She has had limited exposure to cats while in care and not currently living with children, but had exposure to them in her previous home.
We would love to see Anna find a home where she had the company and guidance of another dog. She has the typical Wolfie goofiness mixed with the enthusiasm of a Cattle dog. At this stage, we think Anna will be a medium to large dog when fully grown, so you would need to be prepared for this. She will need a medium to large size yard and a home where she will be treated as part of the family ๐จโ๐จโ๐งโ๐ง๐๐
As with all our pups, we strongly recommend enrolling in Puppy school. Anna will need continued socialisation with other dogs during the puppy stage and into adulthood, as well as ongoing training so that she grows up to be a well mannered and socialised girl.
We would love to help get you started with training, so our amazing supporters, Best Friends - Erina, have kindly offered to include a 5 week Puppy training course with all of our Puppy adoptions (up to 16wks of age)....The Best Friends Puppy Pre-School service is a fun and interactive five-week training course that covers puppy behaviours, diet, health, grooming, exercise and play, with an emphasis on socialisation, command training, health and care. Their aim is to teach you positive ways to train your puppy in basic skills such as โsitโ, โdropโ, โstayโ, and how to walk well on a lead, but also how to control your puppyโs not so desirable behaviours like toileting inside, biting, mouthing and separation anxiety.
Anna is booked in for Desex on Wednesday 19th August and will be available to take home once she recovers (within a few days). She is located in Long Jetty on the Central Coast NSW.

Adoption details
If you would like to express interest in adopting, we ask that you send through some info about yourself, your family and home, if you rent or own (rental agreement required if renting and rates notice required if you own) and what you can offer this gorgeous baby. Our aim is to find the best homes for our babies, not necessarily first in best dressed, so a good detailed application will make you stand out from the rest.
Once we have received your email outlining the above, those who we feel may be suitable, will be sent an Adoption Questionnaire to complete. Your enquiry will then be passed onto the appropriate carer and successful applicants will be contacted via phone.
